Role Overview
- Work on the development and evolution of payment solutions for the VD+ (Direct Sales) ecosystem, supporting the reseller journey;
- Technically lead the decoupling of legacy systems (monoliths) into modern microservices architectures;
- Ensure code quality and standards using methodologies such as DDD (Domain-Driven Design) and Hexagonal Architecture;
- Perform service migrations and support cloud infrastructure, transitioning from Azure to AWS;
- Optimize complex queries and manage relational (SQL Server, RDS) and non-relational databases;
- Promote an observability culture, monitoring production applications and acting proactively on alerts and logs to ensure payment journey performance;
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other teams (Checkout, Channels, Financial Products), discussing technical feasibility and refining requirements;
- Provide mentoring and support the technical development of other developers, actively participating in Code Review processes.
Requirements
- Solid experience with .NET (C#), including legacy and current framework versions;
- Previous experience in system modernization projects and decoupling monoliths into microservices;
- Knowledge of cloud architecture (AWS is a plus);
- Proficiency with SQL Server and experience with PostgreSQL;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate organizational dynamics and stakeholders.
Preferred / Nice-to-have:
- Previous experience in the payments industry and familiarity with its regulations;
- Knowledge of Python.
