Own the annual operating plan (AOP), quarterly reforecasting, and long-range financial planning processes end-to-end.
Develop and maintain the corporate financial model, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet projections.
Lead monthly business reviews — synthesizing actuals vs. budget with clear variance analysis and forward-looking commentary.
Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to build financial scenarios in support of strategic decisions, M&A activity, and capital allocation.
Design, own, and continuously improve the suite of internal financial reports used by leadership, the board, and investors.
Build a reporting cadence that gives business leaders the information they need.
Ensure consistency and integrity across all financial reporting — from board decks to departmental scorecards.
Own the narrative: translate financial results into business insight, not just numbers.
Serve as the dedicated finance partner to G&A functions including HR, Legal, IT, and Finance.
Build trusted relationships with G&A leaders to drive accountability against budgets and support investment prioritization.
Lead G&A budget submissions during the AOP and forecasting cycles.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis to G&A leadership in support of vendor decisions, headcount requests, and organizational changes.
Own the FP&A tech stack — including planning tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, or equivalent), BI platforms, and data integrations with ERP/HRIS.
Drive automation of recurring reporting and forecasting workflows to reduce manual effort and improve speed to insight.
Partner with Accounting, IT, and Data Analytics to ensure clean, reliable data pipelines that support financial planning and reporting.
Build and maintain scalable models and templates that can support the business as it grows.
Evaluate and lead implementation of new FP&A tooling where appropriate.
Requirements
10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
Demonstrated experience owning a full AOP cycle and monthly/quarterly close reporting.
Strong financial modeling skills — you build models that other people can use and maintain.
Experience as a finance business partner to G&A or corporate functions.
Hands-on experience with FP&A platforms (Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Pigment, or similar) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Proven ability to automate and streamline financial processes — you hate doing the same manual task twice.
Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and visual; comfortable presenting to C-suite and board audiences.
High attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
