Lead the financial architectural design and implementation of Global E-Invoicing and E-Taxation mandates across Middle Europe (MEU) and Middle East & Africa (MEA)
Ensure that financial accounting and controlling processes (S/4HANA Finance) are compliant with the multi-year digital tax roadmap
Implement country-specific requirements, including ZATCA e-invoicing, VAT reporting, Intrastat filings, and local billing/tax processes
Manage integrations with EDICOM, government portals, EDI/IDoc, and external tax engines such as Vertex, Thomson Reuters, or Sovos
Conduct gap analysis between global templates and local legal requirements
Lead Unit, Integration, and UAT testing using tools such as INT4 and Tricentis Tosca
Support data migration, audit readiness, SAF-T reporting, and Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC) compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and regulatory compliance
Requirements
10+ years as an SAP FI/CO Consultant with at least three full-cycle implementations involving complex tax localization
Deep knowledge of G/L, AR/AP, Fixed Assets, and Bank Accounting
Proficiency in Overhead Cost Controlling and Product Costing
Hands-on experience with the Document and Reporting Compliance framework is desired
Expert-level understanding of EU VAT directives and national electronic reporting standards (e.g., XRechnung, KSeF)
Experience with ZATCA (Saudi Arabia) Phase 2 and the UAE's upcoming E-Invoicing System (EES)
Professional fluency in English
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Finance and Controlling, or Business Administration
Nice-to-have skills: SAP Certification in FI, CO, or S/4HANA Finance is a strong plus
Specialized certifications in SAP Tax Compliance or DRC are highly preferred
