Professional and disciplinary management of the accounting team for five entities and continuous further development
Responsibility for the accurate and timely preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including all closing entries, taking into account IFRS adjustments
Independent preparation and finalization of HGB (German Commercial Code) annual financial statements in cooperation with the team
Ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements and regulatory compliance obligations
Close cooperation with the Head of Group Accounting
Central point of contact for business units, group accounting, auditors, tax advisors and other internal and external stakeholders
Coordination of and active participation in projects to optimize and automate financial accounting processes
Ensuring and continuously developing the Internal Control System (ICS)

Successfully completed degree in business administration, certification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant) or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional and managerial experience in a comparable position
Solid and audit-proof knowledge of accounting under HGB (German Commercial Code) and good knowledge of IFRS
Very good user skills in SAP and MS Office
Business-fluent German and very good English
Goal-oriented, team-oriented personality with strong communication and assertiveness
High analytical competence and enjoyment in solving complex issues
Hands-on mentality and strong IT affinity
