Lead Software Engineer

Role Overview

• Shape Guardian’s customer-facing digital experiences using various frameworks
• Collaborate with a team of engineers, business leaders, UI/UX, and data
• Innovate, modernize, and create technical solutions to solve business problems
• Launch products that support Guardian’s purpose to inspire well-being

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience delivering resilient, highly performant, public-facing web applications
• Highly proficient in Javascript/Typescript (Node/React/Next/NestJS/Jest)
• Extensive experience in API development best practices (REST/GraphQL)
• Experience with Redis, micro-frontends and micro-services desirable
• Mastery of web fundamentals, including vanilla Javascript, HTML, CSS
• Experience developing complex applications in an Agile environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• BA/BS degree in computer science or relevant history
