Serve as a subject matter tax expert providing tax advice on complex North American operational fund tax issues
Support complex North American operational tax compliance processes and governance frameworks
Identify operational tax issues impacting complex fund structures
Collaborate with internal and external tax advisors to support product objectives
Support periodic and ad-hoc tax planning for portfolio managers
Lead projects, including process improvement and automation initiatives

7+ years in tax, preferably focused on investment funds
Master’s degree in Tax, Law, Accounting, or Finance
CPA, CA, or ACCA certification preferred
Expertise in complex retail and private investment structures
Knowledge of complex securities and alternative investments
Strong operational efficiency skills
Accredited in one of lean six sigma, CPOE, CEE or equivalent preferred
Strong data analysis skills
Experience with project management and automation tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau)
