Develop implementations, changes, and fixes in the Domínio Contábil system using PowerBuilder and the Sybase SQL Anywhere database
Assess the impact of decisions and guide the team to minimize long-term issues
Actively participate in the code review process
Drive innovation and simplify processes with a focus on continuous improvement
Work independently and support the team in resolving complex problems
Design and execute tests for implemented code
Review functional, technical, and project requirements
Support the support team in resolving customer issues and during remote access sessions

Produce and maintain product-related technical documentation/manuals

PowerBuilder, .NET and Databases: deep knowledge of DataWindows and PFC (PowerBuilder Foundation Classes)
Integration with relational databases
Strong experience developing desktop systems with PowerBuilder
Ability to optimize SQL queries and understand Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Views
Knowledge of Sybase SQL Anywhere, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server
Experience with large data volumes and the limitations of 32-bit PowerBuilder
Knowledge of .NET and .NET integration with PowerBuilder (garbage collection, interoperability)
Experience with threading (both in .NET and PowerBuilder)
Experience with migration or modernization of PowerBuilder applications to more current architectures (.NET, Web Services)
