Role Overview
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code
- Own complex features and services from design to deployment
- Work closely with squad to refine requirements and deliver great software
- Champion automated testing and CI/CD
- Build, deploy, and monitor services in AWS
- Take responsibility for the health, performance, and maintainability of the code
- Help evolve engineering standards and practices
- Champion observability with DataDog
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Strong focus on TypeScript (Node.js & React)
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals
- Experience building and running production systems in AWS
- Skilled in designing and building GraphQL and RESTful APIs
- Practical knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Kafka
- Deep knowledge of writing automated tests with Jest
- Comfortable building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience using DataDog (or similar) for monitoring services
- Experience working in Agile environments
