About this role
Role Overview
Provide excellent customer service to callers
Answer calls in a courteous manner
Identify callers' needs and transfer them appropriately
Log calls into the telephone log
Use telephone etiquette script to answer each call
Triages phone calls appropriately and in a timely manner
Identifies the caller’s needs and meets/exceeds their expectations
Determines availability of receiving party and identifies appropriate action if they are unavailable
Reports issues or problems with the telephone system to management
Other duties as needed and assigned by management
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Health care or Home Care experience preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Displays optimal critical thinking skills
Knowledge of Medicare rules and regulations preferred
Working knowledge of managed care environment preferred
Experience multi-tasking on multiple computer systems
EPIC experience a plus
Ability to consistently demonstrate a commitment to the mission and Organizational Code of Ethics, and adhere to the Compliance Program
