About this role
Role Overview
- Lead the reliability, resilience and continuous improvement of Azure cloud platforms
- Design and deliver advanced automation using PowerShell, Python and KQL
- Drive FinOps practices across the cloud estate
- Act as a senior technical escalation point for high‑severity incidents
- Provide technical leadership and collaboration across engineering teams
Requirements
- Extensive experience in infrastructure operations or platform engineering
- Significant hands on experience supporting Microsoft Azure based environments
- Demonstrated capability in cloud operations including automation, scripting and monitoring
- Exposure to AI supported or data driven operational tooling
- Experience operating within vendor led or managed service environments
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles
- Experience in FinOps and cloud cost optimisation
- Relevant Azure certifications or equivalent practical experience
