Role Overview
- Planning and coordination of material and component requirements
- Organization and monitoring of daily supply chain and logistics processes
- Technical interface and main point of contact for engineering, suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Technical support for purchasing during RFQs and bid evaluations
- Participation in demand forecasting, procurement planning, inventory management, and material availability
- Identification and resolution of operational issues along the supply chain
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
- Supporting the team through knowledge transfer and technical explanations
Requirements
- Completed technical training, ideally in a metalworking environment, e.g., in metal construction, industrial mechanics, precision engineering, machining, or design engineering; further qualification as a technician is an advantage
- Several years of experience in supply chain, technical procurement, production planning, or logistics
- Confident handling of technical drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
- Experience collaborating with engineering and suppliers on technical clarifications
- Good knowledge of MRP and procurement processes
- Solid MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Analytical and structured working style combined with pragmatism and strong execution skills
- Open, team-oriented personality with high integrity and reliability
- Very good German and English language skills
