Lead negotiator on high value & complexity negotiations. Applies advanced negotiation techniques to consistently secure high-value outcomes.
Resolve stalled negotiations and adapts strategies based on situational needs to increase supplier value.
Ability to collaborate and build relationship with Senior partners like VP’s, SVP’s levels for major projects/engagements and deliver value.
Act as a senior point of contact for key business collaborators, ensuring sourcing priorities are aligned with business needs and delivering significant value and risk mitigation.
Driving sourcing excellence through deploying guidelines, providing a consistent experience, utilization of strong market intelligence and running world class bids that deliver significant value for the business and where applicable enables the business to buy quickly, easily & where it makes sense, independently.
Ensure full compliance with Category Management Policy, S2C procurement controls, regional governance, contract templates, and Delegation of Authority requirements.
Monitor and report on team performance using key metrics, including value delivery, cycle time, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sourcing Team Leaders.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on capability building, career development, and continuous improvement.
Create and maintain a psychologically safe team environment where individuals feel respected, heard, and empowered to speak up, share ideas, and challenge constructively without fear of negative consequences.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any subject area or higher
Extensive experience in global procurement, strategic sourcing, also demonstrated experience in a leadership role.
Proven track record of leading high-performing, multi-cultural global teams and delivering complex sourcing strategies.
Proven experience with Strategic Sourcing, Complex Contract & Commercial negotiations and strong contract drafting skills.
Strong commercial skill, negotiation expertise, and supplier relationship management skills.
Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with cross-cultural teams.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior partners and drive strategic outcomes.
