About this role
Role Overview
Design and document software architecture and concepts for technical and non-technical requirements
Ensure scalability and efficiency of our software
Ensure usage of our software in our global products
Align CI/CD toolchain with internal and external stakeholders
Research solutions and best practices within and outside the automotive industry
Debugging of functional and non-functional issues
Provide resolutions for issues
Coordinate globally, internal and external stakeholders incl. supplier
Organize software development process across the entire driver experience domain
Coach and mentor team members and colleagues on all aspects of development – from methodologies to execution
Create documentation, reports, presentations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field
5-7 years in software development
Expertise in software development and embedded software development using agile methods
Experience with Android, Kanzi, Matlab/Simulink
Experience in automotive communication technology
Experience in service oriented architectures
Experience with automotive development processes
Experience in Engineering of commercial vehicles
Experience with identifying and solving the root cause of complex problems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Detail oriented, reliable, and self-motivated
Strong skills in communication and team coordination across global teams (considering different cultural backgrounds)
Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change
Positive and collaborative attitude
