About this role
Role Overview
- Provide general support to the Communications and Outreach team
- Play a key role with the development of social media content
- Assist with the development of web content, videos, and graphics
- Assist with research projects and reporting
- Assist with tracking and preparing for stakeholder events
Requirements
- Dependability, flexibility, and willingness to learn new things
- Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback
- Strong interpersonal and well-developed communication skills (verbal and written)
- Organized and detail oriented
- Good computer skills and some proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to work independently and with others
- Experience working with Canva
- Previous experience working in a corporate environment
- Should be able to work effectively and reliably under pressure
- Graphic design knowledge – experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator an asset
- Experience with social media management tools an asset
- Basic video production skills and experience with iMovie, Premiere Pro, and After Effects an asset
