Provide pre-sales technical consultation in the design, engineering, sale, and implementation of sophisticated products, applications, and solutions.
Working in partnership with sales teams, strategic and industry partners in assessing the potential application of our products.
Proven experience in process, tools, and techniques for responding to a customer’s proposals (RFP, RFQ, RFI) and creating viable proposals.
Use your industry and product knowledge to engage and influence customer technology strategies through showcasing Juniper technologies during technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, proof of concept, and trial engagements.
Build, develop, and maintain strong professional relationships with customer IT decision-makers and the industry partner community.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a technical/pre-sales role as a Sales or Systems Engineer.
Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, and or related field or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience in designing/engineering/consulting on LAN/WAN, Campus, Data Center, Security, and Cloud technology solutions.
Extensive experience in implementing and operating small-mid-large-scale Campus and branch networks utilizing enterprise Networking and Security solutions.
Solid interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills with extensive experience in customer-facing sales activities (presenting, whiteboarding etc.) and Exec/C-level engagements.
Deep understanding of Routing Protocols (IGPs, EGPs, Layer-2/3 VPN’s).
