Advisor, Risk Management

Role Overview

• Conduct initiatives related to the integration of ESG risks into risk management practices at Desjardins, including quality assurance and timely delivery
• Contribute to the development of ESG risk disclosure and governance documents
• Help monitor ESG-related risks, particularly as they relate to industry best practices, regulatory requirements, frameworks and disclosure standards, and recommend responses
• Help develop and update policies, directives, methodologies, risk indicators and training to support your unit’s strategic projects and initiatives
• Advise, assist and collaborate with your partners from the various Desjardins Group components to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives under your responsibility
• Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues, and formulate recommendations for the relevant decision-making bodies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience
• Experience working in Agile mode
• Knowledge of French is required
• Knowledge of ESG risk management and disclosure
• Knowledge of the ESG risk management framework
