Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines in an Azure environment
Build and configure solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory and Databricks
Develop notebooks, snapshots, triggers and pipelines for data processing and integration
Implement modern data architectures, including the Medallion Architecture
Monitor job runs, analyze performance and optimize data flows
Investigate incidents, perform troubleshooting and resolve integration failures
Document processes, pipelines and technical solutions ensuring governance and traceability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical and business requirements
Manage requests and track deliveries using Azure DevOps (ADO)
Communicate risks, impediments and activity status clearly
Promote continuous improvement and best practices in data engineering.

Advanced English for communication with global teams
Solid experience with Azure Synapse Analytics (Notebooks, Snapshots, Triggers/Pipelines)
Experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks
Knowledge of modern data architectures, including the Medallion Architecture
Strong analytical skills and experience in troubleshooting
Self-driven profile with the ability to solve complex problems with minimal supervision
Good communication skills and ability to produce structured technical documentation
Knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL), including extents and joins (nice to have)
Advanced experience in T-SQL (CRUD, query optimization, indexing, fine-tuning and profiling) (nice to have)
Microsoft and/or Databricks certifications (preferred)
