Develop and implement a global strategy for supplier development
Lead efforts to assess, monitor, and improve supplier performance
Conduct regular supplier assessments, audits, and evaluations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supplier processes
Identify and mitigate risks associated with the global supply chain
Work closely with procurement, engineering, operations, and other internal teams
Foster collaboration with suppliers to drive innovation and technological advancements
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key global suppliers
Partner with procurement and finance teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
Provide training, support, and development opportunities for suppliers
Lead and manage a global team of supplier development professionals
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)
10+ years of experience in supplier development, supply chain management, or procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing global teams and suppliers
In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, supplier performance management, and procurement processes in a global context
Strong experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks
Proven success in building and maintaining effective relationships with global suppliers, including negotiating contracts and resolving disputes
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Ability to analyze complex data and metrics related to supplier performance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience managing global supplier networks
