Role Overview
Originate and execute project financing, structured financing, and debt advisory within the project finance and infrastructure segment
Leading project finance debt financing across various sectors such as power, renewable energy, energy related assets, midstream and infrastructure including Public Private Partnership (“PPP” or “P3”)
Originate and execute project finance transactions, as well as pitching, deal negotiation, financial modeling, liaising with third party counsel and advisors, debt structuring, equity analysis and investor appraisal, and documentation execution
Act as lead structuring/execution deal captain for tailored project finance transactions for the PFI business line.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
10+ years of client coverage experience in the project finance sector, including selling, originating and executing traditional lending products, as well as cross selling more complex capital markets products
Strong understanding of power, renewable, midstream and infrastructure industry drivers, market dynamics, and industry regulations
Deep client network in the power, energy and infrastructure sector and established relationships with law firms, engineering firms and other businesses supporting the industry
Strong financial modeling skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across functional areas to resolve complex issues
Strong interpersonal skills which foster teamwork, trust, creativity/innovation and accountability
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and insightfully
