Ensure operational excellence of telecommunications networks.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of network equipment and fiber optic infrastructure.
Optimize transmission, data and fiber optic systems, including DWDM, FTTx, PTN, POTN and IP networks.
Read and interpret network topologies and diagrams.
Lead resolution of complex issues and implement continuous process improvements.
Requirements
Education and Technical Background: Bachelor's degree completed or in progress.
Telecommunications Technical Knowledge: Network equipment (routers, switches, OLT/ONT), fiber optics (FTTH, backbone, access), reading and interpreting network topologies and diagrams.
Required: Knowledge and experience in fiber optic maintenance; experience working with large corporate clients.
Tools: Familiarity with management and quality tools, advanced Microsoft Office, TOA, SAP and other systems.
Soft Skills: Clear and objective communication, sense of urgency and responsibility, organization and the ability to manage multiple demands, teamwork and interaction with different areas, proactive approach to resolve problems definitively.
Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Networks or related fields.
Certifications in networking (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) or fiber optics (CFOT) are a plus.
Advantages: Knowledge of carrier/operator networks (Transmission, Data and Fiber Optics; DWDM, FTTx, PTN, POTN and IP networks).
