About this role
Role Overview
Assist in conducting forensic delay analysis, quantum analysis, productivity analysis and insurance loss quantification for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
Perform planning and project controls, including progress tracking, cost analysis, and loss quantifications
Review project-related costs such as labor, materials, and equipment
Read and analyze design documents and estimate material quantities
Utilize planning software such as Primavera and Microsoft Project to extract and analyze data
Research and interpret document control systems and project information sources
Collaborate with senior analysts to prepare or respond to delay and cost claims, as well as expert reports
Support engagement proposals and contribute to business development initiatives
Expand industry knowledge by attending relevant conferences and events
Visit project sites as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying or related discipline
Post-graduate degree in Construction Management is an asset
2-5 years of professional experience in a similar role, or project management-related functions in the engineering and construction industry
Knowledge of cost estimation and cost planning for construction and infrastructure projects
Skilled in Primavera or other project scheduling software
Possession of professional certifications, or a keen interest in obtaining credentials such as, PSP, CCP or CEC would be an asset
Proficiency in MS Office tools such as, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Effective communication skills
Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally as needed.
