Assistant General Counsel – Litigation

Role Overview

• Provide legal advice, support, and coordination on moderately complex legal matters or projects
• Represent the Company in more routine litigation and administrative proceedings
• Provide legal support to divisional management on specific business issues
• Represent the Company in dealings with applicable regulatory bodies and government agencies

Requirements

• Juris Doctor Degree and a license to practice law in the state where the legal department is located
• 5 years experience as a practicing attorney after receiving a law degree
• Experience in the health care industry may substitute for legal experience
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
