Water Network Technician

Role Overview

• Take ownership of a designated patch of District Meter Areas (DMAs)
• Manage your own workload autonomously in a field-based role
• Identify, investigate, and reduce water leakage across the network
• Focus on health and safety during investigations
• Regular interaction with customers
• Provide detailed feedback to operational teams
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Travel around Leicestershire in company van

Requirements

• Solid, hands‑on leakage experience
• Confidence to apply knowledge effectively in the field
• Customer‑focused and safety‑led mindset
• Ability to perform calmly under pressure
• Proactive, right‑first‑time mindset
• Strong problem diagnosis and resolution skills
• Commercial awareness and sound cost‑benefit decision‑making
• Commitment to building and maintaining collaborative relationships
