Role Overview
- Develop and maintain features in the accounting system
- Ensure code quality (reviews, testing, and best practices)
- Analyze technical impact and propose improvements
- Support resolution of complex issues (including with clients)
- Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with the team
- Document solutions and contribute to the product's evolution
Requirements
- Strong experience with PowerBuilder (DataWindow, PFC)
- Desktop application development
- Databases: Sybase SQL Anywhere, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
- Proficient in SQL (stored procedures, triggers, views, optimization)
- Experience with .NET and integration with PowerBuilder
- Knowledge of threading and handling large volumes of data
- Familiarity with code-quality practices (Clean Code, SOLID, Design Patterns)
- Version control with Git
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
