Responsible for the implementation of Communication System Projects and will act as the focal point for all aspects of assigned project(s)
Leads all aspects of projects for a client, from inception to completion
Responsible for allocating all necessary resources to meet project objectives, and customer satisfaction goals
Directs and coordinates the work activities of project team
Oversees development of the complete project plan
Manages schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment
Ensures that the three constraints (quality, cost and time) that face every project are properly managed
Utilizes PM tools to analyze complex issues and develop resolutions for any issues related to assigned project(s)
Responsible for direct communication to customer’s organization and relevant stakeholders internally by conducting project reviews throughout the life of the project
Involved in extensive interaction with sales, systems engineering, product development and other members of cross-functional teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of project management or engineering experience, OR 5+ years of previous experience in project management or engineering
Project management certification, highly desired
Understanding of two-way radio / cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems
Familiarity with the technology industry with experience in one of the following highly desirable: Public Safety communications systems, Military communications, Enterprise Software or IT Networks
Understanding of local public safety customers, such as police, fire, and emergency medical services is a plus
Demonstrates a firm understanding of all areas of PMBOK project management
Demonstrated delivery track record in a large, complex enterprise environment
Computer literacy; familiarity with Project management software and other common business software
Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain business relationships with various internal and external stakeholders
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Customer service focus and positive “can do” attitude.
