Pharmacy Technician, Per Diem

Role Overview

• Under pharmacist supervision, responds to and/or triages nursing phone calls
• Prepares medications orders, accurately delivers meds and restocks as necessary
• Provide superior customer service by modeling the organizations values
• Fill patient orders with prescribed medications, while completing appropriate documentation
• Perform clerical work in medical settings

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• National Pharmacy Certification required within 18 months of hire
• 1 year of work experience in a clinical, retail, or healthcare setting
