Under close supervision, perform the routine aspects of engineering assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles.
Using prescribed methods, perform specific and limited portions of engineering assignments.
Compile, verify and correlate data relating to process engineering problems.
Assist in conceptual designs, studies, reports, proposals and preparation of process deliverables.
Perform calculations, simulations and basic preliminary analyses.
Use computer programs as directed.
Assist in detailed development of established design concepts for process systems and equipment.
Participate in preparation of material requisitions, specifications and other related documents.
Coordinate assigned work with other technical personnel as directed.
Assist in development and verification of project controls documents and status reports.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of water chemistry and water treatment processes.
Basic technical knowledge of systems calculations, equipment, applications of methods, process flow diagrams (PFD’s), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s), plant layout, materials, process engineering calculations.
Basic knowledge of industry/ regulatory codes and standards, and design and/or layout criteria pertinent to the process discipline.
Learning to be consultant and/or designer
Able to produce quality deliverables within scope, schedule and budget.
Degree in engineering discipline.
2 years’ experience.
