Act as the Digital Category Expert and trusted Advisor partner to WMT site merch and merchant teams
Provide objective, comprehensive, consumer-based insights and actionable recommendations utilizing tools such as retailer data, internal/syndicated data sources
Assist with delivering site merch strategy and building executional elements
Analyze multiple sets of data (POS, panel, shopper behavior, etc.) and validate data accuracy
Complete eCategory WMT reporting and share out with internal category advisor team and external merchant teams
Collaborate horizontally and vertically with both internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions to align and successfully execute digital category initiatives
Identify white space digital opportunities to proactively uncover potential growth areas for both the category
Requirements
Strong CPG experience in Sales, Category Leadership, Insights, or eCommerce
Highly analytical
ability to leverage data sources such as retailer data, internal/syndicated data sources, digital search and site analytics tools, and shopper insights
Strong storytelling ability through strategic use of visual tools such as PowerPoint and Mekko
Strong problem-solving skills as well as intellectual curiosity
Proven ability to work on multiple assignments and prioritize
Ability to thrive in ambiguity with a self-starter, proactive mindset
Strong collaboration skills, ability to influence and drive change management
