Role Overview
- Design, implement, maintain and manage highly available solutions and platforms
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, diagrams, and system documentation
- Continuously learn and upskill on relevant technology products and methodologies
- Participate in technical peer reviews (design reviews, code walkthroughs, test reviews)
- Champion automation and evangelize lean development
Requirements
- Eager to learn and grow in software engineering
- Basic understanding of DevOps principles
- Understanding of software validation and regulatory requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Proficient in English
- Nice to have: Experience with repository managers like Artifactory
- SCM tools (Git) and project management tools
- CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions and Gitlab)
- Container technologies (e.g. Docker, LXC) and platforms (e.g. Kubernetes)
- Infrastructure as code (e.g. Packer, Vagrant, Terraform) and configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Experience with Public (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) and Private clouds (e.g. VMWare)
