Join a small, ambitious team creating research and policy products for policymakers
Develop discrete research outputs and written products that translate complex technical research
Work across KGI’s competition policy and generative AI portfolios
Engage with academic literature and synthesize evidence across disciplines
Produce written work for policy audiences at state, federal, and international levels
Shape KGI’s policy communications and contribute to convenings

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, computer science, public policy, or a related discipline)
0-2 years of relevant experience in policy analysis, research, or a similarly analytical role
Demonstrated ability to produce clear, well-structured, and persuasive written work for policy audiences
Strong critical thinking skills, including the ability to synthesize empirical or technical evidence
Demonstrated interest in technology policy, including areas such as competition policy or AI policy
Ability to manage multiple workstreams, operate independently, and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output
Comfort using modern research and writing support tools, including AI-based tools
