Product Manager

Role Overview

• Drive Data Strategy & Business Value
• Translate business and analytical needs into clear, prioritised product requirements
• Partner with operations, finance, sales, and leadership teams to identify opportunities and unlock insights
• Define KPIs and north-star metrics that drive business performance
• Analyse trends, anomalies, and opportunities to improve products and outcomes
• Promote a truly data-driven culture across the organisation
• Shape Scalable Data Architecture
• Own the long-term performance, reliability, and scalability of our data platform
• Help define standards for data modelling, pipelines, governance, and documentation
• Proactively monitor data quality, consistency, and platform health
• Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to ensure strategic and cost-effective growth
• Own the Product Roadmap
• Lead the roadmap for our data and insight products
• Balance innovation, technical debt, and evolving business priorities
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes
• Translate complex initiatives into clear, business-focused deliverables
• Lead Agile Delivery
• Drive backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery ceremonies
• Define acceptance criteria and ensure scalable, high-quality solutions
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver impactful data products efficiently
• Influence Across the Business
• Build trusted relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
• Communicate insights and strategic recommendations with clarity and confidence
• Represent the data product function in senior strategic discussions

Requirements

• Proven experience in Product Management with a strong focus on data, analytics, or insight products
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interrogate and interpret data effectively
• Experience translating non-technical business needs into actionable product specifications
• Strong understanding of: Data architecture, Data modelling, Pipeline design, Platform scalability, Data quality management
• Experience managing and evolving data platforms over time — not just delivering features
• Strong Agile delivery experience, including backlog management, sprint planning, and user story creation
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• Experience with BI and analytics tools such as: Power BI, Pendo
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms including: Databricks, Snowflake, Amazon Web Services
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools and workflows while maintaining trust and quality
• Desirable Experience within healthcare, staffing, or regulated industries
• Hands-on SQL skills
• Knowledge of data governance and master data management
• Experience implementing data quality frameworks and monitoring
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tooling
