Take responsibility for operational finance, accounting, and controlling matters across multiple companies
Assist with monthly and annual financial closings and quickly become confident in account structures, posting logic, and financial interdependencies
Analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and key financial/business metrics, deriving reliable insights
Prepare analyses, forecasts, and reports at both company and group levels
Actively contribute to the development of processes, structures, and finance workflows and optimize existing procedures
Collaborate closely with other departments and provide support on tax and accounting-related queries
Requirements
Several years of experience in finance, accounting, or controlling
Strong understanding of accounting, financial statements/closings, and financial interdependencies
Comfortable working on operational tasks as well as analytical questions
Structured thinker with a readiness to question and improve existing processes
Ideally experience with monthly or annual financial closings; further training as a certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or experience in controlling is a plus
Very good German language skills
Confident user of Excel and ideally experienced with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central)
