Manage and expand the public sector client portfolio, strengthening relationships with government agencies;
Identify new business opportunities within the client base, maximizing revenue and ensuring customer satisfaction;
Monitor bidding and public procurement processes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and requirements;
Act in a consultative manner, understanding client needs and proposing appropriate solutions;
Prepare commercial proposals and manage negotiations through to closing;
Monitor competitors and market trends to develop growth strategies;
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellence in solution delivery;
Manage the sales pipeline and provide best-guess sales forecasts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Law, or related fields;
MBA, postgraduate degree, specialization, or technical training in Telecommunications/IT, Public Management, Marketing, Public Procurement and Contracts;
Knowledge of public procurement and contracts legislation, including revisions, updates, complementary laws, and regulations of entities that contract via tendering or procurement exemptions;
Knowledge of the telecommunications market, IT solutions, fixed and mobile telephony, VoIP, data communications, Internet, networks, converged networks, and Cloud technologies;
Knowledge of administrative, legal, and extrajudicial procedures;
Experience in technical sales;
Experience preparing commercial proposals for private companies and/or public agencies;
Experience preparing declarations, interpreting terms of reference for public tenders/notices, and handling certificates of capacity.
