The Associate Director will have a seat at the table with some of the County’s top funders and will have the opportunity to impact how services are delivered to thousands of people who are or who previously experienced homelessness in Los Angeles.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the Housing and Inspections teams, to create processes that support housing stability and produce strong outcomes.
Implement process improvements, refine current practices and shape priorities and strategic planning.
Serve as a thought partner to the FHSP Director and a key member of the FHSP Leadership Team and Housing Services Leadership Team, contributing to program and agencywide priorities that shape the future of housing access within the FHSP.
Coordinate with various agency funders, and both facilitate and participate in coordinated activities and meetings with agency partners.
Work with FHSP Housing teams, Program Operations and BC’s Data/Tech departments to utilize data-driven analysis and forecasting to measure and evaluate the performance of programs and program goals.
Requirements
At least 4 years of people management experience, including at least 2 years of direct supervision of managers or supervisors.
At least 2 years oversight of large, multidisciplinary teams within a large-scale Housing First or tenancy support program.
Proven ability to design, implement, and improve programmatic processes while maintaining compliance with funder requirements and contracts.
Strong background in strategic planning, operational leadership, and performance management, including the use of data to inform decision-making.
