Program Support Specialist

Role Overview

• provide direct support to the Program Manager
• coordinate client intake and referrals
• perform clerical duties for the Mather Community Campus
• compile data for case management and software management
• coordinate daily activities of clerical needs
• interact with outside service providers
• prepare monthly billing reports
• maintain client records
• ensure unit readiness
• disseminate health and safety materials
• provide client status updates
• perform clerical activities including reception duties

Requirements

• high school diploma
• proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• ability to learn and utilize various databases
• prior experience using Credible, HMIS preferred
• strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• ability to work independently and as a team member
• basic understanding of severe mental health, physical health, and substance use issues
• general knowledge of issues and challenges unique to homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health
• valid California driver's license
• CPR/First Aid certification required within 90 days of employment
• ability to pass all required background clearances
