Ongoing canvassing for sales prospects and identification of new customers.
Generating accurate quotations consistent with customer requirements.
Speedy closure of deals.
Ensuring customer needs are consistently understood and expectations met and managed.
Ensuring compliance with pricing and discount structures.
Working in conjunction with technical support/product specialists when appropriate.
Attending all sales meetings and related training.
Maintaining an up-to-date calendar.
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction & sound customer relationships.
Maintaining demonstration equipment in safe and good order.
Providing product demonstrations and assisting with marketing initiatives as required.
Providing product training when appropriate.
Ensuring that the product or solution offered meets the customer’s requirement.
Providing first line technical support and where necessary, facilitate advanced support from the technical department.
Gathering and analyzing market information and preparing related reports.
Generating reports as per GM/Sales Manager requirements.
Preparing periodic reports on market developments and business / sales opportunities.
Preparing and timeously submitting activity/call reports as required.
Engage continuously with customers to understand their needs, deliver personalized service, and ensure their satisfaction with our products and services.
Develop and maintain lasting relationships with customers by interpreting and effectively managing their requirements, ensuring a tailored approach to their business needs.
Keep customers well-informed about existing products, as well as new products that are ready to be launched to the market.
Ensure all customer details are accurate, up-to-date, and entered into the company’s sales database to support smooth and efficient operations.
Oversee the creation and completion of contracts between the sales team and customers, ensuring all agreements are accurate, complete, and fit for purpose.
Requirements
Grade 12
Valid Driver’s License
Reliable personal vehicle
Proven Track Record in Sales.
2 years’ experience in the electronics sector preferable
Technically capable in respect of electronic security products preferable
Computer Literate
Be presentable (professional, neat & tidy).
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
