About this role
Role Overview
Monitor and analyze changes in local and international tax framework, supporting the team in interpreting new rules and their application in practice
Support the preparation of corporate income tax returns and related calculations
Participate in the calculation of top-up taxes under Pillar 2 and related analyses
Analyze the tax treatment of revenues and expenses based on accounting data and applicable tax rules
Work with financial data, support data collection, validation, and reconciliation processes, assist in identifying and calculating tax adjustments, contribute to working papers and client deliverables
Participate in engagements addressing client queries on corporate income tax and domestic top-up tax matters.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or similar
Fluency in Bulgarian and English
Suitable for recent graduates or candidates with limited experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Ability to work with financial data and financial statements
Good working knowledge of Excel
Interest in direct taxes
Attention to detail and accuracy
