About this role
Role Overview
Take full ownership of quality assurance within cross-functional product teams.
Design and maintain comprehensive test strategies covering functional, UI, API, integration, and exploratory testing.
Drive pixel-perfect validation of complex web interfaces across multiple devices, screen sizes, and browsers.
Ensure full test coverage for API flows using tools like Postman, Swagger, and automation hooks if needed.
Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to define quality expectations and shift testing left.
Write structured, reusable test cases and detailed bug reports that help the team move fast without sacrificing quality.
Review and improve test documentation, coverage, and regression practices across releases.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and team workflows.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in manual and semi-automated testing of web-based applications.
2+ years of hands-on experience with API testing, including auth flows, error handling, and payload validation
Proven experience testing payment systems, transactional flows, and basic third-party integrations.
Experience with responsive design testing, browser dev tools, network analysis, and cross-platform validation.
Knowledge of Postman, Chrome DevTools, Swagger, and test management systems (e.g. TestRail, Xray).
Understanding of frontend–backend architecture, including REST APIs, session handling, and data flows.
Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend consistency checks.
A strong "pixel-perfect" mindset and ability to quickly identify visual and behavioral UI issues.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) development processes.
Proactive, analytical, and able to work autonomously with a strong sense of ownership.
