Role Overview
- Guard the integrity of the general ledger
- Ensure accuracy in financial data and proper accounting procedures
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly IFRS financial statements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and internal controls
- Prepare tax filings and reporting in coordination with the TAX team
- Participate as SME in review, optimization, automation of certain RTR processes
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- At least 5 years’ experience of accounting process operating requirements
- Knowledge of Belgian GAAP; knowledge of French GAAP is a strong plus
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French are an asset
- Strong analytical skills; organized and detail minded
- Capable of analyzing numerical data; able to challenge and improve processes
