Reporting to the University Export Control Officer, supports the Research Compliance Office in areas related to export compliance and research security
Manages daily functions of the Research Compliance program
Coordinates export control reviews and restricted party screening
Tracks faculty training requirements and ensures trainings are completed on time
Develops and delivers educational materials to promote awareness of research compliance requirements
Serves as a liaison with various campus departments to fulfill objectives of the research compliance program
Monitors trends, best practices, and changes to applicable regulations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree will be considered in lieu of experience
One to three years of relevant experience
Familiarity with export control, research security, international relations, and/or compliance regulations
Knowledge of compliance and research administration
Strong organizational and communication skills
Effective problem-solving, assessment and interpretation, critical thinking ability, and creativity.
