Establish and build Vanta's Professional Services function from the ground up, establishing delivery methodology, service offerings, pricing model, and team structure.
Develop scalable service packages across all customer segments, with differentiated approaches for high-touch enterprise customers and scalable delivery for mid market.
Create a repeatable, measurable service motion that supports onboarding, implementation, and enablement across the customer lifecycle.
Design and launch new, innovative service offerings that are tightly aligned with Vanta's product roadmap.
Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team. Build career frameworks, onboarding programs, and ongoing enablement to develop a world class services team.
Own and grow a new Professional Services revenue line, including scoping, SOW negotiation, and services bookings across all customer segments.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Solutions, and Channel & Alliances to ensure seamless presales-to-post-sales handoffs and aligned customer outcomes across both direct and partner-led motions.
Build and lead a partner services program that acts as a strategic bridge between Vanta's Professional Services function and our broader ecosystem of resellers, service partners, distributors, and auditors.
Requirements
10+ years in SaaS Professional Services or consulting, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role at a high-growth software and/or AI company.
Proven builder: you've hired, structured, and developed PS organizations from scratch and know what great looks like at every level.
Track record of owning services revenue, with experience scoping, pricing, and selling professional services engagements including SOWs, change orders, and renewals.
AI-forward mindset: you actively use AI tools to drive team productivity and delivery quality, and you've experimented with (or built) AI-enabled workflows in a services or customer-facing context.
Strong operator: you build processes, implement tools, and use data to drive decisions.
Executive presence with the ability to navigate complex enterprise customer relationships and serve as a credible partner to C-suite stakeholders.
Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.) and the ability to translate them into customer-facing delivery strategies.
Familiarity with key platforms in the compliance and security ecosystem (AWS, Okta, Azure/EntraID, GCP, Jira, etc.).
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
Responsible for protecting Vanta and customer data in how your team operates and delivers results.
