About this role
Role Overview
Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of tax engagements.
Lead a team of tax professionals, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tax returns.
Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients.
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
Work with the partner in delivering planning opportunities and tax solutions to clients.
Play a key role in business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities for growth and expanding client base.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
CPA or EA license is required.
7-8+ years of experience preparing and reviewing tax returns required.
Master's degree in accounting, tax, or related field is preferred.
Manage tax compliance, planning, and consulting services for HNW individuals, families, estates, and trusts.
Manage and review complex tax returns, including corporate, partnership, individual, gift, estate, and trust tax filings.
Conduct tax research and stay up to date with federal, state, and local tax laws.
Devise innovative solutions for complex tax issues, leveraging deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.
Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures throughout all stages of client engagements.
Identify areas for improvement in firm processes and take proactive steps to address operational inefficiencies.
Ensure adherence to professional standards with existing clients to deepen engagement and drive additional business opportunities.
Expand the firm's client base by networking within the business community and leveraging personal and professional connections.
Mentor, train, and develop junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Collaborate with partners and senior managers on complex tax matters and firm initiatives.
