Develop and maintain the technical IT/cybersecurity capabilities across all phases of the software development lifecycle and software stack, including threat modeling of application designs, static application security testing (SAST), software composition analysis (SCA), dynamic application security testing (DAST), penetration testing, and the integration of network security and firewall technologies into application and infrastructure designs
Lead efforts related to designing, planning, enhancing, and testing cybersecurity technologies used throughout the enterprise, including enterprise firewall and network security platforms , base-lining current systems, conducting trend analysis, and performing capacity planning to support future system requirements, platform upgrades, and technology migrations.
Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the use of new information security technologies or modifications to existing equipment and systems, including firewall platforms and network security architectures , to support proposed projects or workloads and enable efficient, secure, and scalable operations.
Lead the implementation and migration of information security technologies, including initial configuration, installation, platform transitions, firewall rule and policy migration (including Palo Alto environments), change management, and operational handoff , with a focus on transitioning from long‑standing legacy security platforms.
Use sophisticated analytical thought, modeling, testing, and hands‑on experience to exercise judgment and identify innovative and practical security solutions, particularly in complex firewall and network security environments
Provide expert‑level technical support for information security technologies, including firewalls, network security platforms, and related infrastructure , delivering timely problem analysis and resolution.
