Director, Government Compliance

Role Overview

• Overall responsibility for financial compliance matters related to CAS, FAR and DFARS
• Thorough understanding of CAS, FAR, and DFARS requirements and their impact on the business
• Provide regulatory guidance and training on proper accounting treatment
• Manage relationships and liaise with business functions, DCAA and DCMA teams, external auditors, and consultants
• Develop and manage a professional staff responsible for submission of annual incurred cost submission
• Work with other functional areas and leaders to develop, monitor, and maintain processes and procedures
• Act as the enterprise liaison for government contract audits and provides all necessary audit support
• Represent the segment on Corporate Government Compliance Councils

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 15 years prior experience
• Graduate Degree with 13 years prior experience
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience
• Experience working with the DCAA and DCMA
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Public accounting, internal audit or government contracting experience
