About this role
Role Overview
- Optimization and expansion of existing customer software systems and processes
- Resolution of incidents in customer software systems according to the ITIL process
- Design, estimation, development and implementation of new software features, including ongoing technical documentation
- Technical leadership of software change requests (coordination/development/implementation)
- Continuous independent professional development and independently conducting trainings for internal and external stakeholders
- Point of contact for selected customers
- Organization and facilitation of customer workshops
Requirements
- Experience in software development and the C/C++ programming language
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Good Unix knowledge
- Completed (higher) education in IT or engineering is an advantage
- Understanding of relational databases (Oracle)
- Good English skills
- Communicative personality with a passion for customer contact
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20% of annual working time)
- Team player, responsible and articulate
