Promotes and sells Medtronic's Cranial & Spinal Technologies Biologics products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
Lead the development and communication of Medtronic’s Biologics strategy to increase exposure and adoption across targeted institutions.
Investigate customer unmet needs related to fusion success, outcomes, efficiency, and cost through strong, trusted customer relationships.
Assesses customer needs and feedback regarding new products and/or modifications to existing products and implements feedback.
Build a strong Medtronic brand and relationship at the Clinician, Administrator and C‑Suite level while supporting the local sales teams.
Lead Area level biologics strategy in collaboration with Sales leadership to drive the Medtronic CST biologics portfolio at select strategic accounts by aligning to each account’s strategic priorities.
Identify opportunities to leverage Medtronic enterprise capabilities to help customers optimize clinical outcomes, consistency, and total cost of care.
Achieve fiscal year AOP targets and consistently grow biologics revenue in targeted accounts at a rate exceeding the national average.
Identify key customer needs and partner with cross-functional teams to acquire and coordinate appropriate resources to deliver and implement programs that drive differentiated value.
Partner with sales leadership to mentor and develop sales representatives, strengthening biologics knowledge, clinical credibility, and strategic selling capabilities.
Requirements
High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical device, Medtech, healthcare or life sciences; or Associates Degree and 6+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical device, Medtech, healthcare or life sciences; or Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical device, Medtech, healthcare or life sciences.
Experience supporting spine, neurosurgery, orthopedic, or robotic-assisted surgical procedures
Strong understanding of Spine procedural workflows, operating room dynamics, and healthcare economics
Operating room and sterile field experience strongly preferred
Experience working directly with surgeons and hospital clinical teams
Strong technical troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced field environment
Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory
Ability to work in hospital and operating room environments
Ability to stand for extended periods during surgical procedures
Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds
Must possess a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.
