Role Overview
As a key member of the leadership team at Liebherr-Canada, the Divisional Director, Concrete Technology will provide strategic and operational leadership to support the continued growth and success of the division across Canada.
This role is responsible for driving sales performance, expanding market presence, strengthening key customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within both traditional and emerging sectors.
The successful candidate will leverage data-driven decision-making to support business planning, optimize operational performance, and achieve measurable objectives related to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, quality, safety, reliability, and profitability.
The Divisional Director will also play a critical role in developing a high-performing team and fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture aligned with the company’s core values.
This includes leading workforce planning initiatives, supporting employee development, enhancing communication and cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the division has the talent, resources, and operational strategies required for long-term success in a dynamic and evolving industry.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in a sales management position within the concrete technology or heavy equipment industry.
In-depth understanding of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and the competitive landscape.
Proven ability to build and leverage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and Liebherr factory contacts.
Strong people management skills with experience coaching, developing, and fostering a diverse and inclusive team environment.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to engage effectively with customers and utilize CRM tools to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Experience leading and implementing change initiatives using methodologies such as Agile or Lean.
Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools to support data-driven decision-making.
Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences (bilingual in both English and French would be considered an asset).
Strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for divisional needs.
Solid understanding of relevant products, technologies, and industry standards to support operational success.
Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, build high-performing teams, and motivate employees toward shared goals.
