Design, develop, maintain, and improve software solutions to support business and operational needs, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
Develop applications, tools, scripts, and integrations prioritized by IT, OT, and business requirements
Maintain and improve existing applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security
Work with databases (MS SQL) to design efficient data models, queries, and integrations
Produce and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions
Actively participate in local and global IT and OT projects, ensuring alignment with global IT strategy and standards
Support and integrate software solutions within IT and OT environments, including industrial and production-related systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot application, system, or infrastructure-related issues, implementing corrective actions or escalating to Global IT when required
Provide day-to-day IT support for users at FEL, creating and resolving incidents and requests in the Global IT Service Management tool in line with SLAs
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations
Ensure security, data privacy, and compliance of IT systems according to best practices and corporate policies
Coordinate and support external IT service providers, ensuring alignment with internal IT goals
Create, maintain, and update documentation, including procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system documentation
Maintain accurate records of incidents, repairs, fixes, maintenance activities, and changes
Support Global IT standards, guidelines, and policies, ensuring compliance at the local level
Participate in continuous improvement of IT and OT processes in cooperation with Global IT
Stay updated on new implementations, documentation, and process changes within Global IT Operations
Communicate relevant IT/OT and software-related information clearly to local business teams
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, IT/OT teams, and external partners at both local and global levels
Proactively identify inefficiencies or improvement opportunities in systems and processes and report them to IT management
Ensure all safety guidelines and procedures are followed during daily activities
Take responsibility for tasks not directly related to Operational Excellence, escalating to IT management when necessary
Requirements
Trackable experience in software development
Technical course or degree in Software Development, IT Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
Knowledge in IT support
Solid experience with .NET development for web
Experience with MS SQL (queries, schema design, performance basics)
Good communication skills in Portuguese, both written and spoken
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, computer systems, networks, and operating systems
Basic understanding of OT environments and industrial systems is an advantage
Knowledge of operating system configuration and management
Understanding of IT security and data privacy principles (certifications are a plus)
Familiarity with IT Service Management tools and processes (ITIL knowledge/training is a plus)
Strong customer service mindset with focus on user experience
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
