The Modern Manufacturing Project Engineer plays a critical role in supporting and executing modern manufacturing (MM) initiatives across SE Asia facilities.
Offer the end‑to‑end execution of modern manufacturing projects.
Translate business needs and MMT strategy into clear project scopes, technical requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
Drive pilot implementations at selected facilities and support replication to additional sites.
Provide hands‑on engineering solution in manufacturing process design, equipment integration, and system deployment.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams, IT, indirect purchasing team and external suppliers to ensure technical feasibility, robustness, and sustainability of solutions.
Partner with facility leadership, operations, quality, maintenance, IT, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and successful adoption.
Support knowledge sharing, standard work development, and best‑practice replication across the enterprise.
Apply Lean manufacturing principles as the foundation for modern manufacturing solutions.
Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost through process optimization and technology enablement.
Manage project plans, risks, budgets, and performance metrics.
Prepare clear technical and executive‑level updates for project leadership team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or related field
5+ years of experience working in manufacturing or production environments (machining, assembly, fabrication, etc.)
Strong communication skills in English and Thai or Bahasa Indonesia.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, shop‑floor operations, and process flows
Experience leading cross‑functional projects in a plant or multi‑plant environment.
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.
