Own the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out
Build detailed project plans with clear milestones, dependencies, resource alignment, and measurable outcomes
Define and manage scope, schedule, and budget with disciplined change control
Manage multiple concurrent initiatives without compromising delivery quality
Ensure successful transition from delivery to operations, including training and support readiness
Lead cross-functional teams across IT and business units (Finance, HR, Operations, etc.)
Facilitate structured requirements gathering and process mapping with documented, approved outputs
Translate business needs into system-driven solutions aligned with technical delivery
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on priorities and outcomes
Drive UAT planning and execution with active stakeholder accountability
Coordinate cutover planning, data validation, and go-live readiness
Hold IT teams, vendors, and implementation partners accountable using objective delivery metrics
Review and challenge technical delivery plans, integration approaches, and timeline estimates with a strong understanding of enterprise systems
Identify risks early (data, integration, environment, dependencies) and drive resolution
Escalate issues clearly with recommended solutions
Ensure adherence to architecture standards and delivery practices
Serve as the primary point of accountability for project outcomes
Deliver clear, honest, executive-level status updates
Lead steering committee meetings focused on decision-making and progress
Manage vendor relationships and enforce delivery expectations
Negotiate scope, timeline, and resource trade-offs transparently
Maintain a prioritized risk and issue register with clear ownership
Proactively manage and communicate project risks and schedule changes
Lead structured change management with full impact analysis
Ensure stakeholders are never surprised by project status
Establish and enforce consistent project governance and reporting standards
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and IT operating practices
Conduct post-implementation reviews and drive continuous improvement
Contribute to PMO maturity (templates, estimation practices, lessons learned)
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, MIS, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of IT project management experience owning enterprise-scale technology initiatives — not business project coordination with an IT component
Demonstrated experience delivering at least one of the following initiative types end-to-end: ERP implementation or major upgrade (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Workday, or equivalent)
CRM platform implementation or migration (Salesforce, Dynamics 365, HubSpot, or equivalent)
Business process automation or workflow platform rollout (Power Platform, ServiceNow, Nintex, or equivalent)
Enterprise system integration project connecting business-critical platforms via APIs or middleware
Data warehouse, BI platform, or enterprise reporting initiative
HRIS, Finance, or Supply Chain system replacement or modernization
Experience managing projects that required active engagement with both technical IT teams and non-technical business stakeholders simultaneously
Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-workstream projects on schedule and within budget
Experience managing external software vendors and implementation partners through full delivery cycles
Experience in both structured (Waterfall) and iterative (Agile/Scrum) delivery environments — and the judgment to know when each is appropriate.
